Assignments as they are marked
Not just the report card. Individual assignments appear as teachers enter them, which means a grade you see in October is a work in progress, not a verdict.
Grades, attendance, the lunch balance and the message that tells you school is closed all live in one system called Infinite Campus. The portal is here, and this page is what nobody tells you about it.

Absences and tardies as the office records them. If something looks wrong it is usually a coding error — call the office that day rather than waiting for the term to end.
Balance and transaction history. One breakfast and one lunch are free regardless of balance; the account covers seconds, milk and à la carte. The menu is here.
This is the one that matters in January. Every weather notice originates from the messaging built into Infinite Campus, so if your contact details are stale there, you will not be told. The closure rule is in writing.
Accounts are issued by the district, not self-registered. A new family gets one through the office that enrolled the student: 507-789-7004 for PreK–4, 507-789-6186 for grades 5–12.
There is a Campus Parent mobile app, which is the same system in a smaller window; the district ID it asks for is Kenyon-Wanamingo. A forgotten password is reset by the district office on 507-789-7001 — there is no self-service reset that reaches a human faster.
Keep the phone number and email in the portal current. It is the single point of failure for every closing notice the district sends.
