A nonprofit running a raffle, bingo night or pull-tabs in Kenyon needs state approval, and the state requires the city to acknowledge or approve it first: the council adopts a resolution for exempt and excluded permits (single events) and for premises permits (ongoing pull-tabs at the Muni or VFW, as the Fire Relief Association holds since November 2023). Ask at least 60 days before the event for premises permits, 30 days for exempt permits.
