The playground at Depot Park in Kenyon
Kenyon Park and Recreation

The parks of Kenyon

Eighteen places, from a rentable railroad depot to a nine-hole golf course, a spring-fed pool, a disc golf course along the Zumbro and four walls of veterans' plaques. What is there, what it costs, and every time the council has talked about it.

Veterans Memorial Park

Four walls carrying 244 plaques stand where County Road 12 meets Highway 56, at the end of the Boulevard of Roses where the Memorial Day parade finishes. Every August the Color Guard fills the lawn with the Field of Flags, one flag for each name a family reserves.
